Experience the sheer joy
of the Wild Heart!

Join us for a back to Nature, back to Self, digital detox and glamping Retreat!

Wild Heart is our flagship retreat, created especially to ignite and inflame our passion for life and spiritual awakening.

It’s a deep dive into experience. We will observe the role thoughts and emotions have in manifesting specific realities. We'll practice Self-Inquiry and meditation to dissolve the clouds of ignorance and unconscious patterns that allow suffering to take root.

We'll journey to the Wild Heart through daily investigation, yoga practice, breath-work, question-answer, journaling, singing, dancing, surfing, and through an intimate immersion in Nature.

This Retreat also combines daily Permaculture sessions for reconnecting with the Earth and the body in a way that you may not have experienced before.

Digital Detox is another modality which is highly emphasized here in order to clear distractions and encourage a complete nervous system reset. To support that reset we'll be serving nourishing vegan and vegetarian food with plenty of fresh tropical fruits!

There is a deep and healing transformation that organically happens when our nervous system is unburdened and we sit quietly in nature. We move from fear into love! Trauma is released and we feel vitally recharged!

As long time teachers we've gone the distance in these far-flung practices. We are excited and absolutely dedicated to offering you the support and insights which will allow you to return home inspired.

You'll leave lighter but with practical tools for soaring into freedom, for experiencing lasting joy and for feeling well established on a path that leads most surely out of suffering.

We are waiting for you at the center of the Wild Heart!

Sangha

One of the three principles tenets of Buddhism is Sangha - the community of monks. In Christianity, it is said: "where two or more of you are gathered in my name, there will be love".  In Judaism, there is the concept of "Minyan", that 10 men are needed in order to pray. Islam has the call to prayer and native American tradition the sweat lodge, the fire dance, the sharing of the peace pipe.

Something powerful happens while gathered in a group to go through a growth process together. There is an energy that builds in the meeting of like minded individuals that is greater tan the some of parts.

During retreat you'll connect with new friends from all over the world who reinforce to you the power of connection in an overwhelmingly divisive world.

In our modern world, where we are constantly in contact with everyone, but not really, we are missing one of our most basic needs, which is being in a group - a tribe, to belong, not through a screen, but in the real world! Here we realize that we have much more in common, than we are led to believe.

Food

Experience Delicious, Wholesome Vegan Nutrition

During the Retreat we'll serve two meals a day: brunch and dinner, in the beautiful outdoor dining area.

There are two self serve snack bars for your convenience, between meals, complete with fruits, coffee and tea.

The retreat schedule, combined with the tropical climate provide the perfect opportunity to re-examine your relationship with food. Our meals are sourced from fresh local produce and prepared with mindfulness and love. Some of the food on your plates comes from our very own food forest!

It is our hope that the food you experience here will fuel your soul journey, energize your body and reset your mind. You might even go home with a few good vegan recipes in your pocket

Arrival From

Important:

Please plan on arriving in Puerto Escondido or area at least a day or two before the Retreat start and plan on staying in the area or with us a day or two afterwards. For example, if the Retreat is a 10 day, it would be good to make your entire trip flight itinerary at least 12-14 days long, so that arriving and departing will be stress free for you and will make the whole experience much more enjoyable.

Digital Detox

Lucky for us, we are in a "low reception zone".  We take that inconvenience and make it an advantage!

Our retreats are designed to be, amongst other things, a Digital Detox Boot-Camp.

So intend to have the Retreat days as free of online obligations as possible.

If you have a responsibility, like kids - do check on them and try postponing  all other important subjects until the conclusion of the retreat.

You'd be amazed how many of our students report to us that Digital Detox is one of the best things they've learned from us.

Saying this, there is sometimes, quiet a good Wifi connection..

Day trips During the Retreat

Permaculture

Rancho De Las Estrellas, was once a hilly tropical forest that was grazed by cattle and then neglected for years. Part of our dream is to rehabilitate it into a gorgeous green paradise. We began this process with 4 hands, no tools, and a huge vision by clearing the area surrounding our house, terracing the hillsides and planting a vast number of fruit trees, herbs and vegetables. We are amazed to be visited daily by the unimaginable kinds of creatures who call this place home. You will most likely be meeting some of them too, because this space is our working and teaching garden during the Retreat.

Student Testimonials

Yoga Noga Yoga Noga

I started my career change to become a yoga teacher relatively late, over 40, and I had concerns about it. At Yoga Mala, I received the tools, the language of yoga in all its physical, energetic and philosophical aspects, and teaching tools, and I became a yoga teacher. I also received important support for the change process and a deep connection within. Thank you very much, Roxy and Boaz. I would not have succeeded without you.
